- A truck from San Diego Parks & Recreation was towing a trailer that contained a large industrial lawn mower.
- The trailer’s brakes ignited.
- The city workers stopped on the bridge over the San Diego River and tried to extinguish the fire using fire extinguishers, but their efforts were in vain.
- Firefighters arrived and were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the lawn mower.
