PALM DESERT, CA — Parents looking for a safe place for the kids this Halloween can plan to bring the family to ‘Boo Bash at The Shops,’ hosted by The Shops at Palm Desert – the region’s only indoor shopping mall.
The Boo Bash will be held from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, offering a fun-filled Halloween celebration for all ages.
The evening will kick off with a pizza party provided by Stuft Pizza and Magic Show by Magician Eddi Spaghetti at the Main Court, where check-in is also located (found on the lower level between PurFit Athletic and Macy’s Furniture Gallery).
A raffle will be held, with prizes from stores within The Shops.
Finally, families can trek through the mall and visit participating stores with trick-or-treat bags (provided for event registrants) for some sweet treats.
“Throughout the event, attendees can enter The Shops at Palm Desert’s Instagram Costume Contest,” a spokesperson said. “Those who wish to enter can take a photo at the event by the Boo Bash backdrop at Main Court, post it on Instagram, follow The Shops on Instagram @theshopsatpalmdesert, tag the page, and use the hashtag #theshopsatpalmdesert in the costume post. Following this process will ensure entry into the contest.”
NOTE: No scary costumes per costume rules, to keep Boo Bash a family-friendly event for young children.
Costumes should be appropriate for all ages. Creativity is encouraged. Three lucky winners will receive $100 gift cards, and winners will be announced on Friday, November 1st.
