  2. Such a cool (😉) thing to be doing in these times. It was nice to see these homes, but also really interesting to hear information about the celebrities. Especially Lucy Ball, whom I remember watching on TV as a kid (reruns, I'm not THAT old haha). I wonder what it's like to actually live in the neighbourhood these days. Are there many current celebs living there now?

  5. WOW that is HOT! I'm Canadian and I don't know if I could handle the heat. But an air conditioned car is always great in the summer heat, and I love this little driving tour that you've taken us on. And yes….Elizabeth Taylor… known for getting married a lot – that's what came to mind first for me, too! Such extravagant homes, very beautiful.

  6. OMG, that is too hot for us! April lived 6 and a half years in AZ but never adapted to the extreme heat highs. 😓 We like the retro look of the bay window at Elvis' house! April really likes watching "I Love Lucy" from time to time; it is cool to learn about her owning it 💪

  7. I have done a Hollywood Homes tour before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I remember seeing Lucy’s home and Elizabeth Taylor’s home. So many beautiful homes in the area. And lol at Elizabeth Taylor is known for having many marriages.

  10. Great idea for a car bound trip! These houses are like time capsules, I love it – some almost look brand new still! Maybe not that Dean Martin place though… I wonder how much that is worth now? Great views of the Elvis place.

  11. We have been twice in Palm Springs and yet never actually did a tour of the golden age of Hollywood. We knew about Elvis, but had no idea even Frank Sinatra lived there!

  12. I didn't know it was a thing of Beatles vs Elvis Presley at that time. I wonder if the people living in there at the moment really care about the history behind it.
