Grew up in the desert. My high school had our winter dances up there. Quite a treat for us desert kids to see snow!

Never. Thinking of it though. We will be visiting this area thos July.
@StevenUnderwood-m4p
Yes before it rotated and before elevator down

I used to love going there until it was overtaken by the Alphabet soup people. The gays I can handle….the Ts are annoying. Hard to explain to kids on a family day out. That community seems to be emboldened there to flaunt it all. I miss the days of "dont ask, dont tell." Keep your bedroom activity in the bedroom. If it ever goes back to normal….which probably wont. Great place to start hike to summit San Jacinto. Ill probably never go back in my lifetime….moved to TX to get out of CA crazy

My wife and I took it today start off scarce but our imagination was much worse than the actual experience. No lines and Tram ran every 15 minutes great experience. ๐

The uphill walk was hard. The tramway wasnโt comfortable.

I just went up there last week and hiked in the snow โ๏ธ I also ate at the Peak restaurant and had the salmon salad ๐ฅ which was very good. The trip itself was so amazing ๐ป๐คฉ and I really had an awesome experience.
@bfdikenny

@thanosave7112
Iโm afraid of heights should I try this ?
@sanik9581
Do they allow drones at the top?
@stefan_from_hope_bc
I've been there in 1989 if I recall the year correctly. The old trams I saw in the video that are there on the ground looks familiar to me. I do remember doing a short hike on the top in a beautiful forest that looked thousands of years old. A very impressive memory for sure!
@jordancook1668
I donโt have to imagine the C2C hike because I did it in 2017. It was a one-and-done for sure, Iโll never do it again. Left the museum at 12:45 AM and reached the summit at around 2:30 PM, then back to the tram for the ride down, which is free if youโre dumb enough to hike up. I would not recommend the hike unless you like putting terrible ideas into motion, but it is an accomplishment, no doubt. Some call it the highest vertical ascent hike in North America, and at 10,400 ft, itโs hard to argue.
