  4. I live in San Diego and Hodad's is very good, but the best burger in SD is at Rocky's Crown Pub… Second best is Duke's Old Fashioned Onion Burgers

  7. Going back to watch this series! Hubby and I are doing a DL/DCL in March. We plan to take the Amtrak from Anaheim to SD. We were curious what time you took the train or what time you suggest? We will be at DL the night before. (7:45, 10:45,11:45 and 12:45 are the ones we can take). We are
    Already booked at the same SD hotel since it looked to be within walking distance of the train and port.

  16. Wow, I travel to San Diego often to visit my brother and had no idea you could travel to LA on Amtrak. I could take a day trip to LA without renting a car 🎉 Thank you!!

  18. BTW, I'm a San Diegan and I think our cruise port is the best. Our port has the old terminal and our shiny brand new terminal and the pier is literally steps from the action of our waterfront, Seaport Village, Gaslamp Quarter, convention center, and our beautiful downtown. Too bad more cruise lines don't home port here. Carnival and RCCL used to be here.

  23. When I was a child, every time we went to Filippi’s my dad would make my brother steal the bottle of red pepper flakes from the table because he liked them so much.

  26. There should be a warning on this video do not watch while eating your basic lunch. It will make you hate every bite because it's not Hodad's or Filippi's

  33. My wife and I are so bummed that you came to our town and we did not see you. All of us love your content. I used to work at the Filippi's you went to and I still know people there, so it is very cool you experienced it.  We will watch the rest and hopefully you get to see LaJolla Shores, the Zoo, etc.

    Filippi's Ordering tip: Unless you are super hungry, willing to share, or plan on taking some home, get any pasta "half order" and the pizza thin crust with half the cheese.
