LOS ANGELES, CA — A hit-and-run incident resulted in the death of a 60-year-old man riding a scooter in South Los Angeles on Sunday morning, officials reported.
The collision took place around 1 a.m. in the 100 block of East Manchester Avenue, as per the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
A vehicle traveling west on Manchester collided with the scooter, which was moving in the same direction, according to police.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. There was no immediate description of the vehicle involved.
