  1. Not worth $2M, sorry but I have seen better homes for less than a Million $

What you're paying for is the Disney Name, period. The rest of it is all Bullshit!

  2. I think all these units are designed to be rented out as airbnb but managed by Disney.

  3. SICKENING. My home city all through the 80's. Disney CEO salary for 2024 was 40,000,000,000 dollars …40 billion up from 30 billion in 2023.

  4. I don't understand Disney getting into housing development anywhere, if they are making enough money to do this, why can't they lower ticket prices at their theme parks instead?

  6. Honestly , Palm Springs is about old Hollywood …. That’s new money trash

  7. I love it, Living in a gated community with no poors! Absolute bliss! I hope they weed out the less desirables as well. I have a question about domestic help, I guess they will commute in?

  8. @the low $2,000,000.00 price point it needs better layouts and more room.

  9. That's where all our So Cal water is going to a Disney home builder….. no wonder our fire hydrants are empty.

  10. It feels more like a resort or vacation spot then a actual home all we need is about 3mil to get one

  11. Not family friendly. I live in Palm Springs. We have Palm trees a nice yard to play catch and games. Where do you put your trampoline for the kids to jump on? How do the kids swim and play games and swim laps in that tiny pool. Everything seems so compact. And not family friendly. No grass. Reminds me of a Marriott Spring Hill.

  13. LIVING IN ONE OF THESE DISNEY MEANS YOU BETTER FOLLOW RULES! WIPE YOUR ASS CLEAN AND THE CORRECT WAY, SPEAK COHERENTLY AND NOT CHEW BUBBLE GUM! 😢 FORGET TO PAY THE EXTRA DISNEY FEES AS WELL OR THEY WILL GIVE YOU NOTICE! CELEBRATION TURNED OUT TO BE A LAWSUIT FROM MANY HOMEOWNERS THERE. BUT THEN YOU REALLY NEVER OWN YOUR HOME IN A DISNEY MANAGED COMMUNITY! DID I SAY “ DISNEY MANAGED” ? THAT ALL IT IS! BUILDERS AND INVESTORS DONT EVEN WORK FOR DISNEY. THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE ITS A SOELY OWNED DISNEY PROPERTY! NOT!

  15. As someone born and raised in the Coachella valley this is maddening. There is no shortage of affordable housing needs and instead we get more almost million dollar single family units… Not to mention the massive artificial lake. We live in a desert w/ 120+ golf courses smattered through the entire valley. Do ppl not understand the water shortage crisis we are/will face?
I guess profit over people wins again.

  17. High wind area! You’re house will be covered in sands and in will make its way inside the house also. Beware.

  18. I just want people to know, it gets so hot out in Palm Springs in the summer, you can’t do anything outside. You basically are stuck inside for 5 months, from June till October 😭

  19. Those are ridiculous prices for the average person. Good luck selling them.

  20. Those places suck!

  21. I’d want more Disney touches otherwise no point. Just another company owning homes.

  22. Yes! Yes! Yes! These small houses with small yards and small pools are gonna make my 800k home a mile away worth 1.5M in no time

  23. Palm Springs is a dump. Sadly it’s headed downhill fast. My in-laws have lived there for 20 years and literally nothing has improved in the area. Not worth the price, especially during the summer season

  24. Very similar to the Dell Webb Pulte and Toll Brothers new homes selling around SoCal. Love the design for and open space but not the price.

  26. These homes aren’t meant to be affordable, just look up the original Disney homes surrounding Disneyland itself, they average 5m per sale, what would anyone expect from the most monetized mouse in the world, affordable? Just look at how much it costs to take a family of 4 to Disney land or Disney world for 1 day.

  28. For a Disney thing, doesn’t seem very Disney themed

  29. Think they're haunted. Did you see Mickey Mouses face wiggle and move on the counter? It's at 2:26. 🫨

  31. It gets very windy in Palm Springs vicinity…beware!!

  32. More multimillion dollar luxury homes for the rich! More traffic, and an enormous lagoon & waves for surfing I’m told. In a “water shortage” there is always enough water for the comforts of the wealthy!

  33. I'm an AZ resident but I hate these suburb style neighborhoods. They should really make more of a "village" that has a feeling like walking through mainstreet or even downtown Disney on the outside but with these more modern interiors. A dense walkable community would mean they could extract every last bit of value from each parcel of land as we know Disney likes to do. Then they wouldnt have to charge a million dollars a unit. They probably still would but they wouldnt have to in order to see good profit.

  34. Yuck! Look like celebrity show places, not homes. And, must take hours and hours to keep clean, probably need to hire cleaning services.

  35. I’m a local…..This is tacky, tacky like when the Riviera was turned into a Margaritaville.

  36. My parents are long time residents of Palm Desert. They say people are not happy about the Disney project. That it was an unwelcome development pushed through by local politicians cashing in.

  37. Looks like overpriced Disney hotel rooms

  38. The light fixtures in the 55+ look like they pressed the wrong number of lights to add when designing the room.
