  3. Shout out to Santana’s in Point Loma (long gone now). $3.00 carne asada, $3.50 cali burrito. Open salsa bar. Open until 2 am!

What you’re talking about is so true, when I was in high school in 1987 I worked at Taco Bell and I realized that my coworkers would just slap on the ingredients as if each bite should not be the perfect bite. When I made the burritos I always made it so that everything was even throughout the burrito and every bite was a perfect bite so I feel bad for you not getting any sour cream. That was just wrong.

  20. I live down the street from Roberto’s and that place is cheeks. I go to Oceanside for a Cali burrito. 106 people were trolling you guys😂 I wouldn’t wish Roberto’s on my worst enemy. You have to drown your burrito in salsa just for it to be edible. $16 for that piece of 💩 Roberto’s you should be ashamed of your damn self.

    Tacos el gordo wins for best adobada San Diego.

    Taquería Revolución wins for carne asada.

    And for the best burria is Tuetano Taqueria..

    And tj oyster for some good fish tacos..

    I’d like some challenges because we are blessed with thousands of different Mexican restaurants , but in my opinion nothing tastes better then real bbq or flame grilled meat , any restaurant with only a flat iron grill isn’t making anything worthwhile
