  9. You would see more of a crowd all week long if you went to Hollywood. Los Angeles is SO vast that tourist will be in so many parts of the county… it’s not condensed to just one area.

  12. You came in a good year weather wise, this summer has been very mild. But it’s also a good part of summer to come, just coming out of “June Gloom” (which, don’t misunderstand, we love), that cool breeze off the water you feel brings the “Marine Layer” in the mornings, and keeps the weather mostly temperate until late summer when the winds reverse and we get a hot wind off the desert called the “Santa Anas” that will bring heat and high wind and dry air. September is the month for extreme temperatures.

  13. Great video brother, but you did not see Los Angeles – you saw the beach. Head inland for 7 or 8 miles and you're in a radically different place. Newsom has destroyed California and the natives are too dumb not to stop wrecking the place. Pretty much all of us are in dread fear of Californians moving into our states because they bring their liberal insanity that wrecked a once great state with them.

  19. My LA dream! So happy you got to realize it. I am truly grateful everyday to have been born here, Long Beach specifically. Nice to see someone show love to Los Angeles like you did. It was interesting to hear you talk about Newcastle Ale. I took a British Isles cruise a few years back and wondered why I couldn't find Newcastle Brown Ale in Newcastle! The local beer scene was amazing there anyway, along with the music scene. Newcastle is actually my favorite city in England. The vibes felt the closest to LA.

  27. I lived in Santa Monica in the 90's and back then you could find places to live that weren't expensive. And 3r street Promenade (where you are) used to be POPPING 7 days and nights a week. You could not even get parking NEAR that place. Now its a a ghost town. Santa Monica is Now its just like so many other cities in the U.S.- impossible to live there because the rents are SOOO expensive. It's because of greed, pure and simple. Greed of landlords, greed of the rich wanting to get richer……it's a hot mess. The U.S. is a lot more screwed up than your experiences. If you had to live here you'd be singing a different tune, sadly.

  29. The nomad lady is wrong about it being the same in Cali as everywhere else, NOT TRUE! We left Cali because we could no longer afford our rent there and the politics are BAD. We moved to Alabama making the same amount of money and we were able to buy a huge house in a very nice nieghborhood with no crime. Most states dont even allow first and last months rent it has to be one or the other and either that or a deposit. Only Cali politicians will screw you for every dollar you have.

  32. I live in Pennsylvania, but spent some time in Pasadena, Anaheim, and the Newport Beach area for work. I always said that part of Southern California is where good set the thermostat. The weather is always so beautifully comfortable. ☀️
