Tatyana Remley, a California socialite who sought to harm her husband, tragically took her own life on December 18 outside a bar in San Diego, according to the Daily Mail.
At 44 years old, Remley reached out to her estranged husband, Mark Remley, from the bar, expressing her frustrations about her new partner before she died from a “gunshot wound to the head.”
“She FaceTimed me while in the bathroom stall and said, ‘I’m with this guy, and he’s being a jerk,’” Mark Remley recounted to the Daily Mail.

Who was Tatyana Remley?
Tatyana Remley made her mark in San Diego social circles as an equestrian and partner in various high-profile projects. She was married to Mark Remley, a tech entrepreneur and real estate investor.
Mark and Tatyana met around 15 years ago and exchanged vows in 2011. Their relationship featured a lavish lifestyle and considerable media exposure.
The couple co-produced a multimillion-dollar equestrian event called Valitar at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, which ultimately collapsed, leaving vendors and performers without payment.
They experienced an on-again, off-again marriage that eventually came to an end.
In August 2023, Tatyana received significant media coverage following her arrest in a sting operation conducted by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to kill her estranged husband, Mark Remley.
Remley reported to the police that she had given directions to an undercover investigator on how to kill her husband and dispose of his body.
Additionally, she was discovered to own multiple firearms during an earlier house fire on July 2, 2023, which led to further charges related to weapons.
In December 2023, Remley pled guilty to solicitation of murder, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, and possessing a firearm in public. She served one year of her nearly four-year prison sentence.

What happened before her passing?
Following her release from prison, Tatyana reignited her romance with Mark. Unfortunately, this proved detrimental, as Mark secretly recorded Tatyana confessing to the alleged arson of their Del Mar mansion years prior.
After Mark turned against her, Tatyana was arrested on suspicion of arson and was awaiting trial scheduled for March when she took her life.
A source close to the couple stated that Tatyana maintained her innocence regarding both the arson allegations and the mysterious death of her friend Sharal, who was with her on the day of the house fire.
She claimed Mark attempted to falsely connect her to the purported murder of Sharal.
