On Sunday morning, a fatal multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig occurred on State Route 805 in San Diego, according to officials.
The incident took place around 2:50 a.m. on the northbound lane, just south of University Avenue, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
A SigAlert was issued at 3:37 a.m., leading to the closure of the transition road linking the northbound route to northbound State Route 15.
