BEAUMONT, CA — Gilman Springs Road in the vicinity of Beaumont is shut down in both directions and will continue to be until Nov. 21 owing to construction activities.
The complete closure between Bridge Street and slightly south of Alessandro Boulevard commenced at 6 a.m. on Oct. 5.
The construction efforts encompass the creation of a new wildlife crossing and the expansion of the road’s shoulders and central median. This activity is part of the $30 million Gilman Springs Road Safety Enhancement Project, anticipated to conclude in the spring.
