A media day for the San Diego California Temple is scheduled for Monday, June 15, 2026, and special guests will have the opportunity to tour the temple on June 16 and 17, 2026. The open house for the public will commence on Thursday, June 18, and continue until Saturday, July 11, 2026 (excluding Sundays). The dedication ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. (and broadcasted at 2 p.m..)

This house of the Lord was initially dedicated in April 1993 by President Gordon B. Hinkley and was the third temple built in California. Currently, 12 temples are either announced, under construction, or operating in the state.

The Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple

A media day for the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple is set for Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Special guests will have the chance to tour the temple on August 13 and 14.

The temple will be open for public tours starting Saturday, August 15, and continuing through Saturday, August 22 (excluding Sundays).

Elder Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will preside over the dedication on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. (with a broadcast at 2 p.m.). The dedicatory session will be streamed to all units within the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple district.

Cambodia hosts over 17,000 Latter-day Saints who gather in 31 congregations. This temple, located in the capital city of the nation, will be the first house of the Lord in the country.

President Russell M. Nelson announced the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple in 2018.

The necessity of visiting the temple regularly has never been more critical. I encourage you to prayerfully consider how you allocate your time. Invest in your future and that of your family,” he remarked. “I assure you that the Lord will present the miracles you need as you commit to serving and worshiping in His temples.”

Individuals of the Latter-day Saints community attend temples for numerous reasons: to experience God’s love and tranquility, to deepen their understanding of God’s plan for His children and the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, to establish covenants with God and their spouse, and to connect families for eternity through sacred ordinances.
