A new amphitheatre is opening in Long Beach, California.
The 11,000-capacity entertainment space, Long Beach Ampitheater, will be located near Queen Mary and Harry Bridges Memorial Park. Funded by the City’s Tidelands Funds Group, the $21 million dollar project will be operated and managed by Legends/ASM Global of the Greek Theatre.
Grandstands, floor and box seats, a pit configuration, VIP section and premium concessions will make up the infrastructure. To increase accessibility and support sustainability, shuttle services and ride share amenities will also be made available. Construction began on January 14th.
Long Beach Amphitheater aims to host 40 concert-scale events annually. Early programming includes an array of rock bands, and will commence from July 3rd.
