I know the jewelry stone was leased at the Ingleside Inn by Erving "Slick" Shapero, Jewish Mafia. Arrested for selling stolen jewelry in this store and one other store in the Coachella Valley….as stated in The Desert Sun. Also, Sinatra Never dined there. In those years he was a regular at "Sorrentino's on N Palm Canyon. I was a waiter at Melvyn's during those years. I know the waiters that served Frank Sinatra.
