Southern California’s favorite fall marathon set to welcome over 25,000 runners this October
LONG BEACH, CA (August 28, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Motiv Sports today announced a new partnership with Más+ by Messi®, naming the next-generation hydration drink as an Official Partner for the 2025 2XU Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon. The event, set for October 4-5, is one of Southern California’s most popular fall marathons, annually attracting more than 27,000 entrants.

Marathon weekend features Saturday’s family-friendly Aquarium of the Pacific 5K, followed by Sunday’s main events: the marathon, half marathon and Bike Tour — a unique ride on the marathon course’s fully closed roads, complete with finisher medals, event shirts and a celebratory beverage.
The event wraps up with a Finish Line Festival featuring live music, food trucks and a coastal atmosphere that celebrates every finisher.
