SAN DIEGO, CA — A 26-year-old individual was stabbed in an alley on Saturday in San Diego, and the suspect remains at large, according to authorities.
The incident took place at approximately 11:10 a.m. Saturday in the east alley of 4300 51st St. within the Colina Del Sol neighborhood, close to the intersection of 52nd Street and Trojan Avenue, as reported by the San Diego Police Department.
“An unidentified assailant approached the victim and inflicted one stab wound to the upper back,” the department stated in a press release.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police confirmed.
No description of the suspect has been made available at this time.
The reason behind the stabbing remains unclear.
