On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will face off against the Denver Nuggets in California.
The Lakers most recently triumphed over the Chicago Bulls (at home) with a score of 142-130.
Bronny James did not partake in the win.

After their victory over the Bulls, Bronny was assigned to the G League.
It has now been confirmed that he will be recalled to the NBA prior to the Lakers’ matchup with the Nuggets.
Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI reported: “The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled guards Kobe Bufkin and Bronny James Jr. along with forward Adou Thiero from the South Bay Lakers.”

Bronny’s G League Performance

Bronny continues to excel in the G League with South Bay.
He is averaging 15.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 54.6% from the field and 42.1% from three-point land in 12 games (11 starts).

The South Bay Lakers are 12-0 when Bronny plays and 8-0 when Adou Thiero plays.”

The former USC guard is coming off a G League season where he averaged 21.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 44.3% from the field and 38.0% from beyond the arc in 11 games.
Carlos Yakimowich of The Sporting Tribune reported: “#Lakers South Bay set a new franchise best, previously established in 2012, with 11 consecutive victories.
Their development squad continues to impress with Adou Thiero, Bronny James, Nick Smith, Drew Timme, Kobe Bufkin, and Chris Manon leading the charge.”

The Lakers enter the night as the fourth seed in the Western Conference, holding a 41-25 record over 66 games.
They’re currently on a four-game winning streak (having won seven of their last ten).
After facing the Nuggets, the Lakers will travel to play Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Monday.
