    I really didn't like that surprisingly poor plumbing in the bathtub/shower — Pretty basic stuff, should be fixed up, ASAP!!

    The power strip right under the frilly bedding gives me serious fire safety concerns — or is it just me…

    The balcony was nice! Especially when you're experiencing a place for the first time, and you might never be back again, you don't know. Some people might say that the view wasn't great, but I think it gives you a memorable experience of exactly where you are, which is nice: All the goings-on of Long Beach, California! Let me add that you described it quite well! 👍

  2. I lived in the LBC most of my life, and I always wondered what the hotel was like.. It looks clean, but totally out dated. I'm surprised! The area is great and the hotel is right on water close to everything.

  4. After reading some other poor reviews about the pillows being no good and getting charged for towels, I stayed there and it was great. Old and charming but clean and quiet. Ok maybe the toilet lid wouldn't stay up, but is that a deal killer? The lights all worked, there was heat, water pressure good, huge room with king bed, 2 balconies. The lady at the desk said she upgraded me to the tower. I said is the tower better, and both hosted said oh yeah! So stay in the tower.

    Also The Local Place across the street has really good breakfast.

  6. Nice report. Are you on FlyerTalk? I imagine on the Cruise Forums they'd love your advice. FT has a very refined and learned crowd, they'd love your contributions (I've never cruised before so your videos teaching a lot)

  7. We found your YouTube videos because of the princess Cruise ship port of Los Angeles. We are, have, booked a mini suite princess Discovery cruise ship so today is YouTube princess Discovery YouTube s for a while.. Golden sails brunch Bacon is some of the best thick cut bacon I have had. Another group of friends would have Dutch Sunday breakfast in different places. Golden sails were one of the regular spots. Best journey ahead of you always.

  9. Not a bad spot there on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), thats the main street out in front of your room. I live in LB…never stayed there before & good eats & Trader Joes right down the street!
