  1. Mission bay, Point Loma PB one of my favorite places to bicycle. We park at Liberty Station and take off from there, Downtown, up to HillCrest out to East SD. Of course we all look forward to Fiesta Island 🏝️ πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ SD county is in my opinion the #1 bicycle zone. Thanks for the videos. I grew up in E. SD.

  2. LOL I’m not sure if you made a joke when buying that orange inflatable or really didn’t know how impractical they are. But it was fun. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚

  3. Those birds are not Seagulls while your in the bay. They are Baygulls. πŸ₯―

  4. A friend of my grandmother used to tell me how she would walk across Mission Bay. That would have been in the 1910s.

  5. The entire raft scene had me giggling to tearsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ binging your channel, rare YouTube recommendation win.

  6. I love your channel so much!

  7. Back in the 1960s, the mall off of the 78 in Carlsbad, CA used to be a chicken farm. The person who owned it offered to sell the land to my grandfather at a reasonable price for the time. My grandfather had the money but since there was not much in the area at the time, he decided to pass. My grandfather did however, purchase a beach house in Oceanside, CA. My father finally inherited the beach house around 1998. Since the housing market was picking up, my dad decided to put the house for sale. It ended up selling for $750,000.
Both my grandfather and father are long gone… but these days I am still in the area. I live 7 miles away from the ocean in a much smaller house that cost more than $750,000. πŸ’€

  8. See 5:00 for funny seagull moment to the right.

  9. Hope you had funπŸ˜…

  10. Have to applaud you Steve.. That you desire to get there.. No n matter what. So Glad, you just got a jet ski.
GOD bless You! I tried a swim to an island once it was close..almost drowned.

  21. Steve, you rock!! "Your gonna need a bigger boat"-Jaws 1979

  22. I think this is for sure the funniest thing you have ever done πŸ˜‚

  23. I thought he was saying " whiskey island " lol

  24. When you own the Explorer raft from WalMart, who needs anything else? πŸ˜…

  25. This is different

  26. Looks like you had lots of fun on this episode. Especially when being rescued by a lovely mermaid!

  27. It is a sewage waste island! Just like the rest of the corrupt failed Democrat controlled Charcoal State of California!

  28. Should have gotten a kayak it would be faster more firm put an electric motor

  29. CLICKBAIT! Don't bother.

  30. When it comes to inflatable rafts/kayaks, I've been there, done that. Bought a Sevylor double kayak that I "tried" to paddle on Newport Harbor with my son. I think that was the only time I used it – sold soon after.

  31. Such fun! Thanks Steve and Mrs. Steve(?)

  32. I really like your videos. Music, narration, all of it is very interesting and relaxing. ☺️

  33. Maybe the cheapest boat was a very bad idea. Luckily you weren't pulled out to sea. That isn't a jet ski. It's a waterbike.

  34. Making lemonade out of lemons

  35. Best 4.5 seconds of intro I've ever heard!

  36. Never forget what democrats took from you

  37. My friend, this water is so dirty. Elevated levels of bacteria. Unfortunately :/

  38. Jet skis are fun.

  39. Nice, our paradise, lets go, surf life in San Diego, alohaaa

  40. Back around 1979 or '80 I paddled an old beat up homemade fiberglass canoe I'd paid $20 for all over Mission Bay. Too long ago to recall all the islands. It was a pleasant enough day but a lousy canoe that was too heavy and not exactly straight. So I only used that canoe the one time. I evacuated out of California around 1981 or '82 for the safety of Arizona, don't recall what I did with the canoe. Most likely I simply left it there for someone else to go adventuring with. Not in the Bay, wouldn't leave litter, not ever. No, either I left it at the last place I rented or I paid someone to take it off my hands. Can't imagine anyone would have paid me actual money for that thing!

  41. Great video Steve. When I got my 1994 Yamaha Waveraider me and a coworker rode our watercraft from Dana Point to Mission Bay and back. It was fun but a brutal ride, my legs were jello by the time we got back to Dana Point. I have vacationed down in San Diego with our kids for about 10 years straight and it has really cleaned up nice since the '70 & '80's. I think all the tourist dollars that have poured in from Comic Con has fueled all the redevelopment. People say San Francisco is the pearl of California, I say "no way it is San Diego!" You have the weather, which is sunny pretty much all year round, plenty to see, do, eat and of course you have Mission Bay to boat around in.

  42. You rule!

  43. lol this is one of you best.

  44. Can I just go setup a place on the Island?

  45. πŸ˜‚something was up when 3 kids and no adultsπŸ˜…πŸ˜… my man survived in a lil inflatable toy boat.
I love that all this made it to the edit

  46. 50 years old born in san diego never ridden a jet sky., Sounds about right.

  47. been there with my paddle board

  48. I never knew the entire Mission Bay was the result of human intervention !
