  1. Those meals are delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹

  2. I'm sold. Thank you!

  3. By the way do you know what lounge El Al business class can get into. I have a trip on July first and need to know for my mom

  4. Can the gold card also get into the lounge

  5. this was so helpful! thank you

  6. Thank you for this. We are taking ElAl premium economy to TLV and flying business back. This will be our first time on ElAl.

  7. Is there a leg rest on the seat?

  8. Very nice video, however, can I ask what did your wife's gluten free meals consist of. I will be flying EL AL for 1st time in May, and have certain dietary restrictions. Thank you and have a wonderful day

  9. A 14 hour airline flight wears your ass out, regardless of how accommodating the aircraft is. I suppose a 787 makes it about as livable as it's gonna get (my last long flight was aboard a 747). Still amazed at how the jet houses enough fuel to keep it aloft for that long.(33,000 gallons, or about 215,000 pounds)

  10. Your nicely done review and recommendation was helpful for us to decide travelling in Premium Cabin.
Thanks for sharing your experience! ๐Ÿ‘
Premium seats on ElAl's 787 really seem to be very comfy and meals appear to be delicious and filling.
We hope you had a wonderful time in Israel!

  11. Thank you! This is exactly the flight and seat class I was looking for. Did they offer you upgrade options at check in or days before?

  12. I am flying premium economy and can choose row 13 two seater or 14 (the last one) also two seater. Which one do you recommend ? Is there a bathroom behind 14? Would the seat recline the same there ?

  13. This is the longest El Al flight I've done. LAX-TLV. And since I was living in Portland, OR back at that time, you can then add on two extra hours for the Delta flight from PDX-LAX (I broke it up by spending the night with family in Pasadena before leaving for Tel Aviv the following evening) so four extra hours RT.

Only once TG ๐Ÿ™ (well, twice I guess if you count a round trip as two flights, which is more technically correct I suppose) back in 1995 (no 787-9 Dreamliner back then, just the old El Al 747's) but I was seated on the Upper Deck for the LAX-TLV outbound flight which was nice. I'd done JFK-TLV several times (because I grew up in NYC), before LAX-TLV but that's a shorter flight by 6 hours; and I DEFINITELY noticed the difference. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm glad you guys had a great trip to Israel! Toda raba for the video (I hope to fly the 787-9 sometime) and Shabbat Shalom, and keep having safe travels! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

  14. Thank you for sharing your experience! I scheduled a flight with El Al from Israel to LAX too at the end of the year and I am excited to see how it will go. I am so relieved to see that the premium economy is worth it. Especially for the leg room and the seat recliner. I hope the seat was comfortable for that 14 hour flight. Cheers!

  16. Great video! thanks for sharing it.

  17. Great video, Steve. Thank you for sharing.

  18. Thanks, one day I will visit Tel Aviv on El Al.

  19. Would you say it was worth paying extra for the premium economy? I couldn't really tell if you were satisfied with the service.

  20. That was an interesting video, I enjoyed it!

  21. Lived in Israel from August '79> November 1980. Bar mitzvah at wailing wall 1984, 1988 revisit, 50th birthday celebration 2019. Returning in 2 weeks for my honeymoon! Cheers ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ‘ โœŒ๏ธ ๐Ÿฅ‚

  22. Welcome to Israel! Elal is a great airline but personally I don't see that big of a change compared to normal economy

  23. Please note that negative comments about Israel will not be published.

  24. Hi Steve, I really want to thank you for this video. I emigrated to Israel in 1991, and at age 59 I will never travel 'over the pond' in regular economy. I see from your video that Premium Economy is was I call '1980s/90s' seats. IOW, designed for a human being. Thanks, Gary Frankel

  25. ELAL is my favorite airline I have great experience with ELAL GOD BLESS ELAL BON VOYAGE ๐Ÿ›ซ

  26. El Al is the best airline for security, maintenance, and flight crew. Rest easy when flying El Al. Many Thanks!

  27. Have to pick up a pair of the air fly!

  28. Great review! The music was soothing and you talked about all the major things on the flight in a concise way- hope Iโ€™ll had a nice trip too!

  29. Thanks for sharing. You have a relaxing narrator voice – you should do some meditation audio books! ๐Ÿ‘ Great report.
