  1. I made you a pizza map! 👉 https://bit.ly/SD-Pizza-Map 🍕If I'm missing anything, please let me know in the comments and I'll add it in! ❤️ If you're a local San Diegan; what's your favorite pizza spot here in San Diego!? In other news, next week I'm off to Croatia to film a new travel series!! 🇭🇷 If you have any recommendations, send me a DM on IG anytime @TravelDeeper 🙌 Thanks for watching!

  2. Dude… you take the uncut prosciutto pizza, roll it up into a pinwheel sammie, and eat it. Screw cutting it….

… Also, you don't share it because JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!!!!

  3. I had a single slice of leftys cold and zero flavor but it looks better than it taste

  4. The second spot is trash.Ive been their and its not worth the money and it has a lot of weird shops around it

  5. How about putting time stamps on each restaurant.

  6. Leftys is fire, only pizza establishment I have seen w a Zagat rating hanging in the window (30th st location).

  7. Napizza was the best in SD!!!

  8. I love Bronx and Luigi but I am totally going to hit Bona Porchetta and the New Haven Style pizza place.

  9. I killed sooo many Brooklyn Slices
    at my nephew's birthday party,
My sister in law knew my wife
    drove .🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

  10. I went to New York the pizza is overrated

  11. Best pizza from lefties is the thin crust sausage pepperoni. Trust me. Used to be the best pizza in SD when I lived there.

  12. Skimmed the first few dozen comments and didn't see a Filippis Pizza Grotto. Was a treat as a kid to get one from the Chula Vista or Little Italy location. Highly recommend

  13. you gotta try regents

  14. Best pizza in San Diego is Volare’s! Hands down!

  15. What about Napoleon pizza? My dad always used to go there. I'd take bronx but Napoleon is under rated

  16. Regents is the best , bona forchetta is probably some of the best Italian food (as well as pizza) in san diego

  17. what was on the Square pizza? thanks anyone

  18. Regents pizza in la jolla has the best deep dish

  19. Please just get on with the restaurants, you guys that get behind the camera are all the same, it's blah blah blah and most people I know are tired of it.

Lordy, cut to the chase man.

  20. i think d one on pure is d winner out dis 5

  21. Luigis is the best

  22. Pizza Cassette, Cucina Caprese, and Tavola Nostra would like a word with you. I am a native New Yorker that's been to all these places, except the spot at Pure Project, which I can't speak of but looks amazing. They all suck compared to the three recommended! Bronx and Luigi's are unacceptable. Buona Forchetta hasn't made decent food in years – you should have seen their disastrous abortion of a BBQ restaurant. I won't even speak of anything deep dish.
Square Pizza is excellent for what it is, and if you're a fan of their style, Piccati and Gelati offer excellent squares in the thin, crispy Roman style.

  23. You should do this same video in some other neighborhoods around the country!

  24. Any video that does not feature That Pizza Place in Carlsbad is an epic fail.

  25. I will forgive a whole lot about a pizza place if they have green olives as an option lol.

  26. Bronx Pizza has the best NY style pizza in San Diego. With out a doubt 💯

  27. Cortina's Pizza

  28. That Chicago deep dish did seem a bit thin compared to the standard of Lou Malnati’s.

  29. Alexanders on 30th 🍕

  30. This is a trick, there is no good pizza in San Diego.

  31. Wow ! Can't beat that !

  32. Ni e , gotta have some

  33. Thanks guys. You motivated me and in the middle of a three hour mountain bike ride I ordered a Square pizza. It was the only thing that kept me going on the ride and it ABSOLUTELY EXCEEDED my, already high, expectations!!

    Thank you.

  34. Best pizza and brew is top 5

  35. There Is 1 In NorthParkIThinkVeniceSomethingWillGetBackToYa'llThanksAgain👍👍👍

  36. OMyG Sooo Amazing So Excited ToTryThe1InPBI🩷PB👍👍👍

  37. Oh Hi Just Saw Your Post OnMyFeedGoodTiming~BackInSDForAVisitWithMyFam&MyKiddo❤'s🍕SoThisWillBeFunToCheckOutYourOptions👍👍👍

  38. Pauly's Pizza Joint off of Mirimar Rd. I had an old coworker who was from Brooklyn, tell me it's the closest to New York he has found in San Diego. Give it a try

  39. Went today to Urbn in North Park to try the potato and bacon pizza after watching this video. Got the small, and it’s not round, but rectangle and the whole thing was about 1mm thick. NO mashed potato on it whatsoever! If it’s on there it’s aless than paper thin smear. Just tasted like deep fried oily bread and the crust is hard and hard to chew. Not pleasant. Sad.

  40. you guys forgot lidos italian food

  41. I’ll never understand the hype of Bronx. I try every few years and never impressed. It’s no better than 7-11 or Little Caesar’s. I’ll stick to Lefty’s (although going downhill), Luigi’s, Gnarly Girl, Filippi’s, Whispering Tree, Bullpen, Pizzo’s, Woodstock’s, Hoboken, Sandbox, Mom & Dom’s (closed 😢), etc.

  42. Good shit my guy. You never fail on the proper rec's. Bronx before Luigi's but Luigi's does hold it down. Honorably mention to @pizzakaiju, and of course @its_breadandbutter cus their pizza pop-ups are a @boodlefightsd favorite! ✨ … also it's not fair, but Prince St. came to town, so you gotta mention them too! 🤙🏽

  43. best pizza in SD is little caesar’s pepperoni deep dish… prove me wrong

  44. I don’t like to mix beer and pizza to much yeast one or the other not both together ,I prefer ice tea with pizza or a soda

  45. You guys don’t know pizza at all,it’s not real pizza a nice looking city almost moved there once but stayed north the Bay Area San Francisco Chicago pizza looked o.k. If you like deep dish .the first pizza looked good

  46. You guys don’t know pizza

  47. Mama’s and Papa’s in Vista 💯

  48. Ok, this needs to be said. As someone who worked in Manhattan a block away from the Ray’s Pizza identified by Santa in Elf, and lived in New Haven, just because something is the STYLE of pizza doesn’t mean it is necessarily as good.
There are tons of New York style pizza in places IN NEW YORK that suck. But Santa was right about Ray’s.
New Haven is world famous for pizza as three locations there constantly rank among the top 10 in the country. URBN is New Haven STYLE, and it is good, but definitely not as good as the places in New Haven. Because New Haven is hardly a tourist destination like NYC, where people will plunk down too much cash for little quality, places all around New Haven, including suburbs, have to have a strong pizza game. Average places in New Haven will be some of the best pizza you’ve had anywhere. Also, New Haven’s roots are ITALIAN, so don’t much it up with exotic, gourmet, or non-traditional ingredients. That ain’t New Haven style pizza.
