  1. Thanks for that on Aspire which I will use with JAL and Priority. When you fly long haul what pillow do you use? Any other mandatory items to have when flying ? I have sony noise cancelling phones which are great but bulky. What are good wireless for Android?

Food selection not great at all
Lots of seat tho. Not too busy

    Beer and wine is expanded

    You can get cocktails
I had a jack and sprite (no caffeine for me)
    Moscow mule

So its a 7/10 for me

I think this lounge will improve

  3. wtf is the Aspire lounge. Iโ€™m looking for the MLM pyramid scheme company in San Diego that just lied to my face and wasted my time and is now refusing to pay me for what they claimed was paid training and trying to get me to sign documents or else they wonโ€™t pay me, I donโ€™t have to be an employee there to get paid for my first day of training

  4. You can use the walkway pedestrian from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2

  5. It is always crowded and not very good. Food is mediocre.

  6. Both Terminal 1 and 2 are connected after security so you can access the lounge from either side. You just have walk down the hall.

  7. I finally went to check it out a few months ago. It was so crowded, food was just snack type food and was mostly gone. It is far from the gates I fly out of so not even worth the walk. If you want a free drink and get to the airport early, sure maybe, but I rather just skip it.

  10. Do you tip every time you get a drink at the lounge?

  11. If Active Duty or Retired Military, I would recommend the USO outside of Terminal 2. Aspire is just OK, best way to get there is though TSA on east end of T2.

  12. At least you have a lounge access.. in the PP network there is no access for any lounges if I fly out of EWR ๐Ÿ˜…

  13. A tip is that if you fly out of terminal 1 and get there early, you can go through security for terminal 2 and access this lounge, even if youโ€™re not flying out of that terminal. I did this recently.

  14. I used to live in SD and still travel there about once a year. The Aspire lounge sucks and they badly need that Sapphire lounge to open. Once that's open, if I'm someone living in SD the Sapphire Reserve card is almost non-negotiable.

  15. Great video! Planning on going here tomorrow so this video was perfect timing. Just a question about your video equipment, are you using the DJI Pocket 3 for most of the footage here?

  16. I've been there before and the food is ok and it's the only one Lounge that I can go and it can be over crowded

  17. That is luxurious compared to the Priority Lounge in New Orleans. Small and limited everything. Not worth it at all.

  20. I fly there once a month. I have the United Club card and Priority Pass. Both the United and Aspire lounge are pretty sad. Iโ€™m hoping the Sapphire lounge is much better.

  22. do you know when will the SAN sapphire lounge open?

  23. Good review. I've been to this lounge dozens of times in the past 7 years and have always found it fair to poor. Now I skip it altogether unless traveling at an off-time since it's usually overcrowded. It's easy in SAN T2 to find free seating that's more pleasant, either in the food court or any unused gate area

  24. Last time I flew, I thought Delta Sky Club was better than aspire. Especially during peak hours.

But I am going to miss the Priority pass restaurant perk to grab a quick bite at the PGA grill here. Not for the best food, but ease of access.
