Just curious, why not go on the trail in Ramona instead? I grew up going to my grandma’s house in Ramona and she would always remind me that there was a rock called “potato chip rock” on Mount Woodson. I never did see it but I’m going out to California next week and I have that location in my mind. Seems like that would be shorter than this but not sure about “easier”.

Narrator sounds like Butt-head

Are there hydration stations throughout the trail?

New to your channel and I loved every bit of your hike. Your commentary made it easy and enjoyable to watch. As a family we are learning so much about hiking and hope to add a hike to our itinerary in each State we visit. Thanks and look forward to more. -McCullough family

Was there a few weeks ago. Awesome hike!
@ervinslens
Breathtaking scenery, amazing thumbnail too.
@nsxt25
Can we kayak there?
@artinist
Thanks, great video and instructions.

I’d argue that statement. I lived in SanDiego for 25 years and adventured all over the place a trail junkie. I never heard of this “rock”. Nice hike but there are more “ iconic “ hikes in SD.
