  19. try to cross before 3pm, after that time the train is full of all the workers returning home, male that trip every time I have a VA appointment..love living in Mexico

  22. At 13:00 minutes in that plaza thats mostly empty now used to be where the original only pedestrian entrance from the US to Mexico used to be for decades. It moved to east when they started rebuilding the car crossing. Now Ped-West pretty much takes you there but its open so sparsely that the plaza just hasn't recovered.

  23. How long does it really take walking to see anything? maybe the main cathedral or tourist area.

  25. You can take DiDi whenever you need a ride. DiDi is like Uber in US. Never try taxi out there. The mini buses or vans are also a good option.

  39. Retired USN Bosn expat living in Rosarito the Empty square before crossing the walking bridge was full of squids and jarheads in early 80s. Good advice DONT walk the bridge or in the square at night. Daytime its safe. Newbies stay on Revolution or Constitution at night. Sight see during the day until familiar your location Dont walk down allies at night drunk.
