  4. I live in Palm Springs and go to Shermans Deli all the time. They also have great Breakfast items and Elvis use to eat there as he and Priscilla had a house about 5 minutes away.

  14. No, this is a horrible place I use to live here and hated the Laers who would make traffic so miserable. The rise of Airbnb housing is monsterly expensive this why I left the valley. Plus one thing they won't show you is so many homeless people and how dangerous crime rate rise.
    Oh yea no jobs here unless you love retail or hotels. There's no night life, nothing to do…please go to burbank it's better, weather is horrible 120 degrees 😑 as a person who lived here it is hell on earth.

    Most of the LA people coming recently is cause of the movie palm springs.
    Out of all my years living there I never left my house cause there was no reason to. Glad I left to east Asia few years ago, never want to go back.

  16. We live nearby and so go all the time. We also drive up to Idylwild for coffee and to see the mayor (he’s a real dog) and Idylwild is in the San Jacinto mountains. I took the tram many, many years ago, don’t think it rotated back then. But always wondered if you can get to Idylwild once you’re at the top. Also a tip, when at the restaurant and bar, don’t feed any raccoons outdoors. About 50 of his friends will suddenly emerge and press against the glass door while salivating and looking like dawn of the dead.

  18. Harpo the Clown is a Palm Springs legend… was lucky enough to do some work with him more than 20 years ago. And the few places you showed at in Palm Springs are just the tip of the iceberg! So many classic spots in the valley.

  19. So much fun shopping and history, if you like old movie stars, too! Also driving around the fantastic examples of mid-century modern, and stars homes. They all used to have a get-away house in Palm Springs. It was their alternate universe, where they could just be themselves. Also many stars are buried there and the Cathedral City cemetery. Thanks for showing where they moved Marilyn! Xoxo
