Me and my wife went on this when I took a wrong turn from a motel a couple blocks away after a wedding. We spent about 6 1/2 hours on it and went our own ways 2/3 of the time. Your tour tells me that I didnt see nearly everything
@BeKind-i6t
The museum did not exist the last time I was in San Diego.
@mikecarter9540
This is one of many problems of this country compared to others we take a perfectly good vessel and turn into a museum just so we can spend billions of tax payers money to build another one. Itโs almost as stupid as the governments belief that says why build one when you can have two for double the price.
@davidaustin4407
I hate people. Always getting in the way of your tour. Standing like lost sheep without a purpose.
@kvp2az
Just toured it today and it felt like being in the past. Like a time capsule. I'm amazed and already want to tour it again next time I visit San Diego.
@geneTice-x1y
I served aboard the Midway in 1958 which was the first time China tried to take over Taiwan. Great and scary experience.
@flyingmolamola
I was just there last week. Youโre not kidding about the stairs, I had a broken toe and a boot to walk around in, while I got pretty much everywhere on the ship, some parts were definitely a bit tricky to hobble around, particularly the island area was tough due to the ladders. Also all the doors with the step overs were a bit tough. It was really interesting to see, and one day when Iโm fully recovered I wouldnโt mind going again, as there were a few things I couldnโt do, like get in the cockpits.
@whackinator
I remember I went here when I was about 10, the wax figures scared the absolute crap out of me. Iโm an adult now and I love this type of stuff, Iโm hoping go back one day! Maybe when Iโm in San Diego for comic-con Iโll go
@Clarence_Claymore1
Crazy prices are now $39. Hard to justify that price especially if youโre going with a family
@fitnesslifestyle3229
Very cool, Iโm in San Diego now and thinking about going at the tour and I just found your video.
Thank you

When I was onboard the "Bowling Alley" was a passageway that ran port to starboard under the flight deck. I wasn't aware of another.
@mattywanders
Great video. I've been on the Midway 5 times now. It's fun to see it through someone else's perspective.
@scottbranch5603

@chrisgentry7242
In the navy the bathrooms are called heads like in the army the bathroom is called the litrain. Oh and sins (ships internal navigation system) room…. are they sinning in there? Pun literally intended. Big time ๐ oh and the ship ran on oil fired boilers and steam turbines.
@pinkypromise111
Wow! That is huge!๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ
