I was born in Los Angeles raised in Carson and lived all over including Paramount, Compton, Downey , Long Beach to name a few . It was Long Beach that stole my heart , I lived walking distance to the beach on 10th and Magnolia ❤

  9. The nostalgia of me when I was a teenager getting around with my friends on a skateboard all through out Long Beach. Now I drive everywhere. I have love for Long Beach my hometown. I just wish it had less homeless and gang activity.

  10. I really didnt know how great my life was,
    Living in a rent controlled condo in downtown LB. I was three blocks in from Ocean Blvd on the dame street that took you to the Queen Mary (Magnolia), and my rent was $875. My landlord only owned the one unit from years and years ago. He lived in the same zip code as Oprah and he cared not. He was never in the country. My daily walk took me to the QM right past the Catalina ferry and looped around the lighthouse back to the aquarium and past the convention center to home. 2-3 evenings a week id be at Islands for a burger (with avocado) at Islands and sometimes at At Last restaurant or CA Pizza kitchen. I worked in El Segundo but i had no relatives and was so alone. A relative asked my stupid ssa to move to AR (which is not my home, im from Houston) and i thought about it for a couple of years and then i did it. Dumbest thing i ever did. Confederate flags everywhere. Hate, everywhere. Bugs, everywhere. Man, i used to watch fireworks on New Years and 4th of July from my patio. The QM was that close. Id invite a friend or two or three because i had adequate under bldg parking. The Gran Prix and the Red Bull events were outside my lobby (loudly). Did you know there is no Macys in the entire state of Arkansas? For good reason no doubt. You are a wonderful driver snd even though im late to your video i want to say thank you. I try not to look back but sometimes everyone goances in the rearview mirror. If you respond to my message id be more than happy to prepay for brunch for two at the LB museum of art there on ocean blvd. I ate there once a month. The views from the patio are sublime.

  11. WOW !! What ever happened to the Pacific Coast Club? I see the Villa Riviera is still there. What about the Formula One Auto races? And, it's "Ocean Blvd," isn't it? Or did they change that too? Oh, and 2nd "Street".
