LOS ANGELES, CA – Investigators in Los Angeles are trying to figure out how thieves managed to break into a Bel Air residence and why their stolen goods ended up scattered in the wind on Monday.

The victim, author and financial influencer Amanda Frances, known as ‘Money Queen,’ believes she has the answer: Instant Karma.

The break-in was reported in the early hours of Monday, shortly after 1 a.m., in the 15400 block of Milldale Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

An armed security guard notified the police, stating that three men had entered the residence and then fled in a black BMW. By the time law enforcement arrived, the intruders were gone, but upscale handbags were found on top of a parked car and what appeared to be piles of hundred-dollar bills were scattered across the street.

The burglars might have realized what Frances already knew: the money was fake — props intended for the influencer’s photo shoot.

“The intruders ransacked my closet, causing damage to my home, but they left behind almost everything, focusing instead on the prop money when interrupted by a neighbor’s security guard,” Frances stated in a media release.
