ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Lobo men’s basketball team will spend Thanksgiving on the hardwood. UNM is playing in the Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs, California, on Thursday and Friday.
New Mexico will open the holiday weekend against Arizona State on Thursday night against Arizona State. Based on the result of that game, UNM will play either USC or Saint Mary’s on Friday.
“I think Arizona State, they could be the most talented team we play,” said UNM head coach Richard Pitino. “UCLA, in the end, is going to be really, really good and I think St. John’s as well, but Arizona State is up there with those two teams.’
The Lobos and Sundevils tip off on Thursday at 9:30 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on Tru TV and MAX.
