48 hours in Los Angeles, California! | LA for first time visitors

I blame MTV’s Laguna Beach, or maybe The OC. Does it go as far back as Beverly Hills 90210?! Or maybe it’s the more recent …

  1. Great video! I relate to that feeling of finally visiting places you’ve seen on TV for yearsβ€”it’s such a surreal experience. Your enthusiasm for Southern California really comes through, and it's inspiring me to plan my own trip soon. Since you’re exploring LA, you might want to check out Quantum Clinic in your next video. It’s an incredible hidden gem known for sound therapy, and it’s definitely worth the visit. Thanks for sharing your journey, and I can’t wait to see more of your adventures!

  3. Thank you for making this video. I moved to the south bay when I was 13 and moved back to the midwest at 18. I still miss Los Angeles and I value the years I spent there.

  7. The iconic Hollywood sign is the city's landmark just like the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco and Space Needle in Seattle or the Portland, Oregon sign in Portland, all west coast cities.

  11. L.A. looks terrible from a car window on the highway. Once you get into the neighbourhoods it's magic.

  13. Hi, a lovely piece on LA. I drove semi's from Vancouver BC to LA California from 1993 to 2007. You have the secret….in before 6am and out after 8pm. I love LA and would hop a bus from Castaic in the north to explore if I was laid over waiting for a load home. The freeway system is amazing if you know how to use it.

  17. You hit the secret on seeing LA, you go off the beaten path. Another place off the beaten path is Forest lawn Glendale. It
    Is well we’re seeing.

  18. There's nothing like LA. Having grown up in Venice/Santa Monica from late 50's through the 70's, I really enjoyed seeing the pier and beautiful beaches. I've been in the Seattle area for the last thirty-three years and have always missed that area. My recommendation would be Sunday Brunch or weekday lunch at Duke's in Malibu. Beautiful drive and right on the water.

  21. Los Angeles was one of my first solo travel destinations and it's great for that IMO. I'm sure the traffic and stuff would get old as a commuter but for a short trip it's not even bad. I took the train and busses everywhere, stayed at two different hostels, visited museums, the beach, Hollywood, etc.
