The city of is still Santa Monica best place to visit. The most a dog friendly. This is only place you can take your dog all the way from beginning to the end of pierce. Lost of activities on the pierce.
Lots of changes since post Freddy Gray. The third street promenande, lots of closed stores. Lots of homeless tents. Given these situation, i dont know why the rent price is so high.
When Barnes and Nobles book store ( 3 floors or 4 floors) moved out, in my opinion , it was beginning of decaying. Even Macdonld Resturant moved to Colorad which much closer to pierce, lots more to the foot traffice. I was by a MacD mgr, the rent was to high & considered moving out. I understand that B&N bk store is comming back to a different location. I was there 2 days ago to a bike ride. I still pick as one of my favorite place for a visit.

My daughter took me to that little pedestrian square in downtown Santa Monica… and got me for a MacBook Pro at that Apple Store with the green beach chairs out front.

I use to go all the time to Santa Monica when I lived there and today I was really missing the beach and Santa Monica. I was 30 and young when I use to go there and now I’m 65 living in Las Vegas. I would love so much to move to SM and live the rest of my life there because I miss CA, the beautiful beaches that I use to go to all the time. God how I wish I could live in Santa Monica, CA.
