I blame MTV’s Laguna Beach, or maybe The OC. Does it go as far back as Beverly Hills 90210?! Or maybe it’s the more recent …

Great video! I relate to that feeling of finally visiting places youβve seen on TV for yearsβitβs such a surreal experience. Your enthusiasm for Southern California really comes through, and it's inspiring me to plan my own trip soon. Since youβre exploring LA, you might want to check out Quantum Clinic in your next video. Itβs an incredible hidden gem known for sound therapy, and itβs definitely worth the visit. Thanks for sharing your journey, and I canβt wait to see more of your adventures!

I so glad you and Luke enjoyed your LA visit

Thank you for making this video. I moved to the south bay when I was 13 and moved back to the midwest at 18. I still miss Los Angeles and I value the years I spent there.

The iconic Hollywood sign is the city's landmark just like the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco and Space Needle in Seattle or the Portland, Oregon sign in Portland, all west coast cities.
@joeschu7794
That was interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I could definitely see you living in LA. Your boyfriend could play for LAFC or the Galaxy.
@watdahek2
Did you visit the Laguna Beach area or the Top of Laguna?
@jasonhumphries6131
L.A. looks terrible from a car window on the highway. Once you get into the neighbourhoods it's magic.

Hi Laura! Many interesting spots! Gold's gym,Venice Beach,the hollywood boulevard.I imagine it's not your cup of tea.Next time you visit the more relaxed places.Thanks for sharing!

Hi, a lovely piece on LA. I drove semi's from Vancouver BC to LA California from 1993 to 2007. You have the secret….in before 6am and out after 8pm. I love LA and would hop a bus from Castaic in the north to explore if I was laid over waiting for a load home. The freeway system is amazing if you know how to use it.
@smit5590
Are you into the Paris Olympics? If so, what sports are you looking forward to the most?π
@Ieva-lf4yo
thanks for a lovely video of LA! I came to your channel because I saw some lovely videos of Lithuania <3
@mreppen1
Go south to Orange County 60 miles south, itβs is way better.
@normbroel4633
You hit the secret on seeing LA, you go off the beaten path. Another place off the beaten path is Forest lawn Glendale. It
Is well weβre seeing.

There's nothing like LA. Having grown up in Venice/Santa Monica from late 50's through the 70's, I really enjoyed seeing the pier and beautiful beaches. I've been in the Seattle area for the last thirty-three years and have always missed that area. My recommendation would be Sunday Brunch or weekday lunch at Duke's in Malibu. Beautiful drive and right on the water.

Really liked the Burbank Airport (BUR) on north side of LA, more relaxed & small town good vibes

Los Angeles was one of my first solo travel destinations and it's great for that IMO. I'm sure the traffic and stuff would get old as a commuter but for a short trip it's not even bad. I took the train and busses everywhere, stayed at two different hostels, visited museums, the beach, Hollywood, etc.
@sergelainesse7893
Did all that Laura in 1984.. Taught it was my filming.. Cheers for the reminds… π€π·π
@depena
Nice one, you made me feel like a tourist in my own city. Safe travels!
@lindylee1139
The best thing about LA is the food scene- for your next trip.
@judit1783
Wish you had stopped at La Brea Tar Pits and Museum. I was there once when they made a discovery…very exciting. Next time drop in.
@ddolde
I totally hate LA
@SisterSherryDoingStuff
I've never been to LA as a tourist – I go to visit friends. It's refreshing to see a vlog about LA that isn't negative. Cheers!
@ingridasvilainyte8783
I would never go that shithole π
