  2. How about the panhandler Olympics? That's always been a downtown L.A. oddity. Or drop by the Rescue Mission and meet Dick Van Dyke! He volunteers there most days. And then there's the upskirt fashion show at Donna's. Or the rooftop at the Standard. And the best Mexican food in the world is thought to be on Olvera Street. The observation deck at the Library Tower provides an excellent view of the evening carjackings along La Cienega. Altogether they make downtown a fun place.

  6. Thanks for sharing the list of amazing places and things to do in LA. All are just amazing. I am local to LA and visited places mostly. Rather than these places I have more suggestions for you and your audiences like: Griffith Observatory – Amazing views of the city and stars, Los Angeles State Historic Park – Perfect for a picnic or stroll, Natural History Museum – Fascinating exhibits for all ages & Quantum Clinic – Best for mental wellness. I hope you will like it.

  12. The Cathedral is not an "old church". (As you can tell by the modern architecture)
It was opened in 2002 to replace Cathedral of St. Vibiana which was heavily damaged during the 1994 Northridge quake.
