  4. Hi Jeb! I've been binge watching your train videos over the past week or so and just wanted to say you and your wife have brought so much joy to me! I haven't been on a ton of trains except some during my studies in Europe, but hopefully one day that will change and I will see more of the beautiful landscapes of the world by train. I have a hound dog who was recently diagnosed with cancer so we can't travel much since we don't want to leave him (my husband and I don't have kids and our dogs are our babies). But I watch your videos with my dog curled up beside me and feel like I'm getting a glimpse into train travel. Thank you for that! Keep up the great work!

  10. I guess I'm spoiled. We live in South Orange County near Laguna Beach, and very often take a car to go North or my husband tourbike motorcycle. It looks like you had a really nice opportunity to see our fair state. The Pacific Coastline is so beautiful, that is when there aren't fires, which unfortunately have become more frequent in the past few years. I had never thought about taking a train, though, and this looked very intriging.

  17. You should definitely make a trip to Crater Lake. It is stunning. Another beautiful place I would recommend is Wallowa Lake, Oregon.

  19. Nice trip but you fail to mention the absolute insane fare of $1750 for the dates we requested. When adding a hotel night in Seattle and return airfare this is hard to justify…

  30. I’ve been on this route, but only halfway. I’ve ridden it from Emeryville to LA and back. I can’t wait to see this video because I’ve always wanted to take it the entire way or at least from Emeryville to Seattle.

  31. EXCELLENT video. THANK YOU!! 😊 👍 I will soon be booking my trip on the Coast Starlight. I truly believe any overnight trip on Amtrak, is more enjoyable if you can afford at least a roomette. In my opinion, coach seating is best for one day traveling.

  33. Crater Lake is amazing. You should go there. The Lake boat ride is shut down till 2028. But it is still great all year around.
